Callie’s Story
Originally from Charleston, South Carolina, Callie moved to California in 2016 and quickly fell in love with rock climbing. After settling in Santa Cruz, fate introduced her to Elliot at the climbing gym, and the rest is history. Today, she’s a personal trainer and nutrition coach, proud to have launched her own business this past year.
Elliot’s Story
Born and raised in Ben Lomond, Elliot has always felt at home in the outdoors. From mountain biking and hunting to running, wrestling, and climbing, he’s rarely without an adventure. In 2023, he proudly launched his own electrical business, bringing the same energy and dedication he’s carried through every part of his life.
Our Relationship
We started off just as climbing partners. But when Callie’s van broke down on a climbing trip, we quickly realized that Elliot would always have her back. From that moment on, we’ve been each other’s favorite adventure partner.
The Proposal

Lover’s Leap
“I planned the proposal on a classic California climb called ‘Bear’s Reach’ at Lover’s Leap in South Lake Tahoe. With the ring tucked in my pack, we swapped leads climbing to the top — trying not to think too hard about the little box I was carrying with me. My buddy Bobby was waiting at the top to capture the moment. When we finally reached the summit, with the mountains all around us, I asked her to marry me — and she said yes.” - Elliot
